This project was a kitchen renovation for a family of 5, including a small addition to an existing stately home just south of Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill. The owners wanted a seamless indoor outdoor feel for the addition so large sliding doors were used to connect to the back patio. Since the addition was built out in front of one of the upstairs bedrooms, a green roof was installed so that bedroom didn’t look out on a bare roof.
